Boost your Immune System With These Foods

Aunty Patricia once visited her doctor, complaining of frequent weakness with body pain, coupled with unnecessary sleep. Her doctor looked steadily on her and ask her these questions:


We often neglect some crucial and important things we ought to do or eat for our fitness, thereby unknowingly weakening our immune system.

Immune System is a group of cells in the body “usually White blood cells”, responsible for fighting or defending the body against infections. They are also referred to as SOLDIERS OF THE BODY.

Apart from water, majority of the foods that boost the immune system must be either rich with vitamin, potassium, magnesium, folate and mineral. Healthy diet is also a required immune builder.

Foods That Boost The Immune System:

  1. Citrus fruits such as Grape, Orange, Tangerine, Lemon and Lime.
  2. Garlic.
  3. Ginger.
  4. Red bell pepper.
  5. Yogurt: Plain yogurt rather than flavoured with sugar.
  6. Tumeric.
  7. Pawpaw.
  8. Chicken.
  9. Sweet potato.
  10. Spinach.
  11. Drink enough water daily.

Planning on boosting your immune system, you must first of all make sure of taking enough clean or sterilized water daily because without drinking enough water, no food that boost the immune system can work effectively on your body.

  3. Sadly, the CDC says little or nothing about maintaining a healthy immune system, and what little they say about it is very hard to find on their website. I was so sick so often as a teenager and young adult that I have spent most of my adult life researching how to stay healthy. I’ve been eating well, taking supplements, exercising, and refraining from sugar, junk food, alcohol, and smoking, but the thing I discovered recently that has made all the difference is probiotics. When I told my doctor I had ordered some I had seen advertised, I confessed I had taken the bait when told 70% of the immune system was in the gut. The doctor said, “Oh, that’s true.” I was frustrated that no doctor had thought of telling me that 50 years ago! But that last piece of the puzzle came just in time. When I got Kovd, the symptoms amounted to a small fraction of what I had been suffering with the average cold 5-6 times a year since I was a teen.

  4. I must tell you that staying healthy is not about refraining from alcohol and sugar, because alcohol has its own benefits and sugar has also.

    What you need to do is just avoid taking them in high quantity.

    Immune System is the power house that needs to be active always for a better power to the body.
